Light sheet imaging from a new perspective – automated 3D fluorescence imaging of large samples with subcellular resolution
Did you miss our workshop at ELMI 2021?
We have two more exciting workshops scheduled for you at the upcoming European Glial Meeting 2021 and Microscience Microscopy Congress 2021!
Learn how light sheet imaging enables you to obtain an unbiased view at large samples such as cleared brains or brain organoids and discover 3D imaging across scales – from entire biological systems down to subcellular resolution:
Whole brain imaging at subcellular resolution with the fully automated UltraMicroscope Blaze™
European Glial Meeting 2021 | July 6 | 3:30–4:15 p.m. CEST
Automated large-scale 3D fluorescence imaging: UltraMicroscope Blaze™ Light Sheet Imaging System
Microscience Microscopy Congress 2021 |Session 1: July 7, 1:45–2:15 p.m. BST |Session 2: July 8, 12:15–12:45 p.m. BST
The UltraMicroscope Blaze™ Light Sheet System
Image entire biological systems at subcellular resolution – from whole organs down to single cells. Just load your samples, choose your settings, and let the fully automated microscope do the work for you.
- Objective lenses developed for high-resolution imaging of large samples
With flat-field correction in addition to long working distances, our MI Plan objective lenses guarantee superior image quality from overview to detail. The motorized turret and up to three objectives allow you to dive deep into the details by just a click of a button.
- Compatible with the sample preparation protocol of your choice
No matter what clearing protocol you would like to use to render your samples transparent, the UltraMicroscope Blaze is compatible with all clearing solutions and can be adapted easily to the refractive index of your imaging media of choice.
- Optimized light sheet technology
Advanced illumination optics generates up to six light sheets. Three light sheets each enter the cleared sample from opposite sides at different angles and overlap at their Rayleigh lengths, resulting in homogeneous illumination and improved image quality.
- Designed to image entire biological systems at submicron resolution
MI Plan objectives, cutting-edge light sheet optics, and the largest sample chamber amongst all light sheet microscopes: The UltraMicroscope Blaze has been specifically designed to image large or multiple samples. Study complex networks in whole rodent brains, detect single micro-metastases in an entire cleared mouse, or quantify effects in organoid cultures.
- Automation makes complex imaging experiments convenient
Thanks to the unrivaled degree of automation and its adaptability to many different experimental settings, the UltraMicroscope Blaze is also the perfect tool for multi-user environments. Load all your samples at once and run a pre-set program overnight and your high-quality 3D data will be ready for you the next morning.
